He is one of the martyrs of Kerbala. He and his brother Saif bin Harith bin Suray joined Imam Hussain (A.S) at Kerbala. When in the afternoon of Aashoora, the enemy was getting closer to the camps, they seeked permission from the Imam (A.S) and went to fight. They were both martyred.
